“On Saturday, May 14, in the evening, a patrol of the cantonal police discovered that the monument to Suvorov was covered with paint spots.

Presumably, glasses or bags were filled with paint and thrown into the monument, ”the message says.

It is clarified that while "there is no information about the perpetrators" and "material damage cannot be assessed."

Earlier it became known that in the Siauliai region of Lithuania, unknown desecrated a monument to the dead Soviet soldiers by drawing a swastika.
