“The ministers agreed on the allocation of an additional €500 million. Thus, the total amount of military assistance will amount to €2 billion,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying after the ministerial meeting.
Borrell added that the main assistance of the EU countries is provided to Ukraine on a bilateral basis.
Earlier, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg called on the countries of the alliance to continue to increase the supply of military assistance to Ukraine.
