In addition, he criticized the negligence of the head of the Central Prosecutor's Office, who did not play any role even in a dire situation, pointing out that "the various negative phenomena that appear in the handling and sales of pharmaceuticals nationwide have not been corrected," the Central News Agency reported.



General Secretary Kim ordered the deployment of the People's Army to calm the situation.



General Secretary Kim issued a special order from the Party Central Military Commission to immediately stabilize the drug supply business in Pyongyang City by putting in the strong capabilities of the People's Army doctors department.



North Korea announced that from 6 p.m. the day before to 6 p.m. yesterday, there were 39,920 new cases of fever nationwide and 8 people died.



The total number of deaths reported by North Korea so far stands at 50.
