The Yemeni army accused the Houthi group of continuing to violate the humanitarian truce, while the coalition led by Saudi Arabia and the UAE accused the group of killing dozens of migrants.

The Yemeni army said that the Houthi group committed 165 violations of the armistice on the fronts of Marib, Al-Jawf, Saada, Hajjah, Al-Hodeidah, Taiz and Al-Dhalea during the past 48 hours.

The media center of the Yemeni armed forces stated that the violations varied between attempts to infiltrate, launch bombs and booby-trapped drones at army positions, create sites and build secondary roads, and bring in reinforcements to various fronts.

Meanwhile, the Houthi group said that the army forces committed 103 violations of the armistice during the past hours on the fronts of Marib, Hajjah, Saada, Al-Jawf and Al-Dhalea.

The group's Saba news agency said that the violations consisted of flying drones and artillery shelling on the positions of their fighters and attempts to infiltrate, in addition to shooting at the homes of citizens, according to the source.

Meanwhile, Yemenis in the city of Taiz accused the UN envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, of complicity with the Houthis in their siege of the city and the continuous bombing of residential neighborhoods.

A statement issued by a protest sit-in in the Al-Dabab area in Taiz called on the Security Council, the international envoy, and the countries that support the armistice to stand firmly against what they called blatant violations.

Migrants killed

In the context of developments in Yemen, the coalition announced at dawn on Friday the killing of dozens of migrants in clashes launched by the Houthis in the Yemeni governorate of Saada, adjacent to the Saudi border.

The coalition stated that dozens of (African) migrants were killed in a forced displacement and armed clashes launched by the Houthis in the border area of Raqo (north).

He added that what he described as the brutal Houthi operation came after disputes and the burning of migrant homes.

And he added, "The killing of migrants by slavery is a repetition of the Houthi burning of hundreds of African migrants (without specifying their nationalities) in a detention center in Sana'a" in March 2021.

The coalition called on the United Nations and organizations to assume their responsibilities in exposing the Houthis' brutal violations against migrants, and pointed out that the Houthis' allegations of deaths in the border area of Raqo by the Saudi forces are untrue.

Yemen has been witnessing for more than 7 years a continuous war between the pro-government forces backed by a military coalition led by the neighboring Saudi Arabia, and the Houthis, who have controlled several governorates, including the capital, Sanaa, since September 2014.

Until the end of 2021, the war in Yemen had killed 377,000 people directly and indirectly, according to the United Nations.
