The turnout for the parliamentary elections in Lebanon was 41%

“Voter turnout averaged 41% across the country at the time polling stations closed,” TASS quoted him as saying during a press conference in Beirut.

Mavlavi noted that the authorities still had to process ballots from 60 polling stations.

Earlier, Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati said that voting in the country's parliamentary elections is proceeding normally.
