"As of May 15, there are five forest fires in the region - in the Ketovsky, Yurgamyshsky and Shumikhinsky municipal districts, all of them are localized," the department told TASS.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations added that the aviation department and the ground grouping of the department continue to work until the fires are completely extinguished.
So, for example, forests are shed, smoldering peat bogs are extinguished, and burning elements are dug in and extinguished.
Earlier, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Yakutia stated that rescuers extinguished the last four natural fires in the region in a day.
