China News Service, Berlin, May 15th. News from the Chinese Embassy in Germany: The G7 Foreign Ministers' Meeting issued a communiqué on the 14th, ignoring China's solemn position, and continued to make wrong and untrue remarks on a series of China-related issues, and once again borrowed it. The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has put pressure on China.

China is strongly dissatisfied and firmly opposed to this, and reiterates my solemn position as follows:

  1. On the issue of China's sovereignty in the East China Sea and the South China Sea

China's sovereignty and rights and interests in the East China Sea and the South China Sea have sufficient historical and legal basis and cannot be questioned.

The South China Sea Arbitration Tribunal is a farce of political manipulation. Its ruling has no legal effect and has been widely questioned by the international community.

China is unswerving in its determination to safeguard national territorial sovereignty and maritime rights and interests.

At the same time, China has always been committed to resolving relevant disputes through negotiation and consultation with relevant countries in the region.

In the name of freedom of navigation and overflight, the relevant countries will send their ships to the relevant waters to show off their power and sow right and wrong. They are the threats to regional peace and stability.

  2. Issues related to Taiwan, Xinjiang, Tibet and Hong Kong

The above-mentioned issues are purely China's internal affairs and concern the one-China principle, a core Chinese interest that brooks no external interference.

The one-China principle is universally recognized by the international community, and China does not allow any country or organization to challenge the one-China principle in the name of so-called human rights.

China calls on relevant countries to abide by the political commitments they made on the one-China principle when they established diplomatic relations with China, and relevant international organizations should also properly handle Taiwan-related issues in strict accordance with the one-China principle.

China strongly urges the G7 to reflect on and face up to history, that is, after the return of Hong Kong, the legal basis for the Chinese government to govern the Hong Kong SAR is the Chinese Constitution and the Hong Kong Basic Law, not the Sino-British Joint Declaration.

  3. Issues on human rights

China's human rights situation is at its best in history, and there is no so-called "forced labor" in China.

China welcomes exchanges and mutual learning on the basis of equality and mutual respect among countries on human rights issues, and maintains smooth exchanges with the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights. And the countries in the world that have committed bloody historical crimes, bad deeds and still have bad human rights records, stop pointing fingers at China and other countries.

  4. On the Ukraine issue

As a responsible major country, China maintains that the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries, including Ukraine, should be respected, the purposes and principles of the UN Charter should be abided by, the legitimate security concerns of all countries should be taken seriously, and all efforts to resolve the crisis peacefully should be taken seriously. should be supported.

Promoting an early ceasefire and ending the war is the urgent expectation of the international community. Although China is not a party, it has always been committed to promoting peace talks and playing a constructive role in promoting the peaceful resolution of the crisis.

On the Ukraine issue, China has always stood on the side of peace, dialogue and negotiation, and de-escalation, and opposed war, unilateral sanctions, and fuelling the fire. This is in full compliance with the purposes of the UN Charter and the norms of international law.

China's objective and fair attitude and its independent judgment are conducive to world and regional peace and stability, and have won wide support from the international community.

Therefore, China firmly opposes groundless accusations and speculations against China, and even refuses to make so-called "appeals" and pressure on China on this basis, because such actions are extremely irresponsible and blackmail China.

  V. Concerning International Security Issues

China is a staunch defender of cyber security and firmly opposes and cracks down on all forms of cyber hacking in accordance with the law.

Individual members of the G7 countries wantonly monitor and monitor other countries, including allies, and now they are accusing China.

China has always strictly fulfilled its international non-proliferation obligations and responsibilities in relevant fields, and actively participated in international nuclear arms control efforts. It believes that countries with the largest nuclear arsenals have special and priority responsibilities in nuclear disarmament.

  6. Questions about the international order

As a permanent member of the United Nations, China actively advocates maintaining the international system with the United Nations at its core and the international order based on international law, rather than the so-called "rules-based order" unilaterally defined by one or several countries.

In recent years, China has put forward a series of Chinese proposals such as the Belt and Road Initiative, the building of a community with a shared future for mankind, the Global Development Initiative, and the Global Security Initiative, which are international public goods provided by China and have been widely praised and responded positively by the international community.

China has always been a builder of world peace, a contributor to global development, and a defender of the international order.

In recent years, China has achieved results in epidemic prevention and control, contributing about 30% to world economic growth, and making important contributions to the international community's joint fight against the epidemic and the stability of the global supply chain.

China calls on the G7 to stop interfering in China's internal affairs, stop harming China's interests, and stop bullying other countries with "helping the rules" and creating small circles to provoke camp confrontation, let alone underestimate China's firm determination to safeguard its own interests.

There is no way out by engaging in "double standards", elevating oneself and suppressing other countries.
