The Sélestat police (Bas-Rhin) have called for witnesses to find an 11-month-old girl and her mother.
The latter fled with her child, following the execution of justice which required the placement of her daughter, reports France 3 Alsace.
The head of the police station specifies that the kidnapping alert has not been triggered for the moment because the child is not "in danger of death".
The girl has dark hair and dark skin, and she wore a vest, a tank top dress and light sandals.
His mother is 1.69 m tall, she has straight red hair and blue eyes.
Anyone with information to locate the mother or her daughter is asked to contact the Sélestat police station at 03.90.57.77.20.
