Rep. Park Wan-joo of the Democratic Party of Korea, who was expelled for allegations of sexual assault, said, "No matter how much sacrifice and suffering there is, it is not without it."

In a message to reporters today (15th), Rep. Park said, "It is painful for the party and me, but I have chosen the path of my expulsion inevitably."

Although she accepts the party's decision to expel her in consideration of internal and external circumstances, it is interpreted as a position that she cannot accept the facts of the sexual abuse allegations she is receiving.

Therefore, it is expected that controversy will continue in the process of disciplinary procedures such as the review of the special ethics committee of the National Assembly in the future.

Rep. Park said, "I plan to make a statement when the time comes," and "It seems that it is not at that time yet."

“It will take a long time, but please bear with it and watch what started,” he added.
