The police state on their website that they are on site with a large number of police patrols at Gamla Torget in Norrköping.

No disturbances have yet been reported and during the operation, the police will, among other things, use drones to get an overview.

Riots in Navestad and Skäggetorp

Rasmus Paludan and the right-wing extremist party Tight Course have recently held, or have tried to hold meetings, in several places in Sweden.

During the demonstrations, the Koran was burned, which led to upset feelings.

During the Easter weekend, his visit led to riots in both Skäggetorp in Linköping and Navestad in Norrköping.

Several police officers were injured and three people were shot in Navestad as a result of the riots.

Two meetings in Östergötland on Sunday

Yesterday, Saturday, Rasmus Paludan was in Uppsala and Stockholm.

Today he has a permit for meetings in Norrköping and Linköping.

Paludan wanted to hold its meetings in the districts of Navestad and Skäggetorp, respectively, but the police have instead designated the place Gamla torget in Norrköping and Lilla torget in Linköping.
