Mi-8 helicopters were involved in extinguishing a forest fire in the Novosibirsk region

Fire and rescue units of the EMERCOM of Russia, together with foresters, are eliminating individual fires, ground and air reconnaissance of the territory continues, ”the ministry said.

It is specified that two MI-8 helicopters from the Krasnoyarsk Integrated Aviation Rescue Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and the Russian Guard arrived at the fire site, which, using a spillway device, dump water on the fires.

Earlier, the press service of the government of the Irkutsk region stated that more than 20 fires are being extinguished in the forests of the region on an area of ​​about 2.3 thousand hectares.
