Lithuanian Foreign Minister: Sweden contributes security to NATO

18 years ago, Lithuania was in many ways in the same position that Sweden will soon be in, with concerns about the Russian reactions after the NATO application.

But according to Gabrielius Landsbergis, in the case of Lithuania, it was significantly more dependent on various security guarantees from NATO during the application period and while building up its own defense.

- Sweden and Finland are not only recipients of security from NATO, but also a contributor, says Landsbergis.
