“From May 10, Latvia suspended the agreement that allowed direct rail transportation of military cargo from Belarus to third countries through Latvian ports,” TASS quoted the statement as saying.
This agreement was signed in 1994.
Earlier, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry announced that the Belarusian side was extending the right of visa-free entry into the country for citizens of Latvia and Lithuania until the end of 2022.
