“No active fires have been registered on the territory of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
Thanks to the timely actions of forest fire formations and the local population involved, four natural fires were eliminated on a total area of 58.8 hectares, ”the message says.
In total, 54 people and five pieces of equipment participated in the extinguishing.
Earlier, the press service of the government of the Irkutsk region stated that more than 20 fires are being extinguished in the forests of the region on an area of about 2.3 thousand hectares.
