The Ukrainian regime does not think about the country and its inhabitants, as once again evidenced by the statement of the head of the Ministry of Defense Alexei Reznikov about his intention to mobilize 1 million people, said the Ambassador of the Luhansk People's Republic in the Russian Federation Rodion Miroshnik.

“Several parties invested in a deal called “War in Ukraine”: the United States, Great Britain and the company provide weapons, ammunition and money for survival, and Ukraine invests in “human goods” - it will supply cannon fodder,” Miroshnik wrote in his Telegram channel .

The diplomat added that the US administration intends to provide Kyiv with $40 billion, the G7 countries - €30 billion, and Ukraine "puts up 1 million human lives."

“A killed and destroyed country does not count, none of them is going to live there anyway,” Miroshnik emphasized.

Earlier, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine announced plans to mobilize 1 million people.

“Processes have been launched that will ensure the build-up of the defense potential of Ukraine.

This applies to both procurement and production of the necessary.

We are guided by the need to provide 1 million people who will resist the enemy,” Reznikov said.

At the same time, in mid-April, the head of the National Defense Control Center of Russia, Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev, said that the Ukrainian authorities created three new national battalions in Kharkov, staffed with prisoners who were serving sentences for grave and especially grave crimes.

The tasks of these formations included blocking the evacuation of civilians, as well as the destruction of the Ukrainian military in the event of an attempt to retreat or surrender, Mizintsev said.

“Such actions by the Ukrainian authorities once again demonstrate their inhuman attitude towards the fate of the people of Ukraine and testify to the complete disregard for all norms of morality and international humanitarian law,” he stressed.

Discrepancy in numbers

There is no exact data on the current number of Ukrainian paramilitary units, however, according to media reports, before the start of the special operation, there were about 200 thousand people in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said on February 21 that Kyiv had concentrated 53,000 troops on the border of the DPR and LPR.

In mid-April, President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview with the BBC that there was a group of 44,000 in the Donbass.

In a commentary to CNN, he said that since the beginning of the special operation, Kyiv's losses amounted to 2.5-3 thousand soldiers killed and about 10 thousand people wounded.

The Russian Ministry of Defense estimated the documented irretrievable losses of the Ukrainian side at almost 23.4 thousand people (as of April 18).

Kyiv recognizes that the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other formations suffer heavy losses.

In particular, this was reported by the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Alexandra Ustinova.

According to her, now the Ukrainian units are losing much more soldiers than at the beginning of the special operation.

At the same time, Ustinova asked the United States to transfer multiple rocket launchers, Paladin self-propelled howitzers and F-16 fighters to Kyiv.

According to the latest data from the RF Ministry of Defense, over 3,000 Ukrainian tanks and other armored combat vehicles, over 370 MLRS, over 300 anti-aircraft missile systems, 290 aircraft and helicopters, as well as 2,900 special military vehicles were destroyed during the special operation. technology.

"There are few who want to fight"

The other day in the media there were reports of mass cases of desertion of militants of territorial defense in Odessa.

According to a RIA Novosti source in law enforcement agencies, joining the ranks of the territorial defense was seen as an opportunity to avoid serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and being sent to the front, but Kyiv decided to use these units to replenish the group of troops in the southeast of the country.

Protest against sending to the Donbass and teroboronovtsy from the western regions of Ukraine.

At the same time, the Investigative Committee of Russia announced the day before that about 4,000 Ukrainian soldiers who had surrendered since the beginning of the special operation had already been interrogated.

As emphasized in the UK, more than 200 of them are officers.

The exact number of Ukrainian prisoners of war is also not disclosed.

Commenting on Kyiv’s plans to mobilize 1 million Ukrainians, experts note that all these people most likely do not have proper training, which means that it is not entirely clear what military task the Zelensky regime intends to solve with their help.

“You can put them under the gun.

Just a question: why?

These are strange ideas, because there will be no sense from these people.

In addition, there are doubts to what extent these plans are realizable.

Even if someone has a patriotic impulse, there are still few people who really want to fight, ”said Alexander Mikhailov, a member of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy, retired FSB Major General, in a conversation with RT.

From his point of view, using punitive measures, it is possible to attract 1 million people to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but a large number of people who are not prepared to work with military equipment will not significantly strengthen Kyiv's position.

“You can’t put a person from the street at the helm of an airplane or the levers of a tank.

They will connect the police, they will catch those fit for service, drive them to the barracks, but the further strategy is not clear, ”Mikhailov argues.

He also believes that the statements of the Kyiv authorities about plans for mass mobilization and the actual withdrawal of Kyiv from the negotiation track indicate that the Ukrainian side, controlled by the West, has finally chosen the military path of resolving the conflict.

“They practically left the diplomatic field.

Ukraine is trying in any way to show its combat capability, usefulness for the West.

Nothing else is left for them - they do not make any concessions, nor any compromises.

Kyiv aimed to resolve this situation with the help of weapons, ”the expert emphasized.

A similar point of view is shared by military expert Alexei Leonkov.

“The government of Ukraine is not independent, it is being manipulated.

Therefore, it is not worth perceiving them as a side that expresses some kind of opinion that stands up for the well-being and well-being of Ukrainians.

A million citizens do not count for Kyiv, only the interests of the West are important, ”the analyst says.

In addition, he is sure that it is possible to attract 1 million Ukrainians to the Armed Forces of Ukraine only by force.

“There is also the question of what level of training all these people will have.

They still need to be equipped, armed, trained, ”Leonkov recalled.

He does not rule out that the mobilization plan announced by Kyiv should serve as a pretext for obtaining further funding from the West.

“Not a single war has required such costs, and in the form of one-time assistance.

But any military specialist will say that in fact a million people are just cannon fodder.

These people will simply be thrown into the embrasure.

Only the occupying authorities, who are indifferent to the fate of their people, act in this way.

All these words about democracy and European values are worthless,” Leonkov summed up.
