A girl in her teens is said to have only been assaulted in a stairwell on Saturday morning, but then managed to break free.
Later, a woman is said to have been assaulted in a forest area and wrestled to the ground.
She must also have managed to break free, and get out of the place.
- These cases have certain similarities in that they are very close in place and quite close in time.
Quite similar approaches have been used and great risks have been taken in connection with the attacks.
This means that we can not rule out that it is the same perpetrator, says Anna Westberg, spokesperson for the police in Stockholm County.
No person has been arrested yet.
The women must not have suffered any serious physical injuries.
The police have carried out a major operation with, among other things, a police helicopter and a police dog.
Technical investigations have been carried out and the places are kept cordoned off.
