Having considered the materials, the court agreed with the arguments of the investigation and took the suspect into custody for a period of one month and 29 days, until July 12, 2022, inclusive,” the press service told TASS.

On May 13, the FSB reported that security forces had detained a Russian born in 1991 who planned to carry out a terrorist attack at a shopping and entertainment center in Sochi on May 9.

At home, a revolver with ammunition, an F-1 grenade, edged weapons and a handwritten plan-scheme of the planned crime were confiscated from him.

The detainee himself admitted that he planned to kill more than 50 people.
