A fire broke out in a four-story building in New Delhi, the capital of India, killing 27 people so far.


Victims are expected to increase further.

According to local police and fire departments, a fire broke out on the evening of the 13th in a four-story commercial building in Mundoka, western New Delhi.

Fire extinguishing activities have already extinguished the fire, but police say that so far 27 people have died and at least 12 have been injured and treated at the hospital.



Police say there could be more casualties, as some of the buildings haven't been searched yet.



In India, the maximum temperature continues to exceed 40 degrees Celsius, and fire departments are investigating the cause of the fire.
