“In countries that adopt such ... documents, declarations, statements, they take such, by and large, extremist steps, there is no other way to call them ... All these countries are members of NATO,” she said.

Zakharova stressed that Lithuania is a member of NATO and has never expressed concern about the actions of the alliance before - neither during the bombing of Yugoslavia, nor during the war in Iraq.

Earlier, Lithuanian parliamentarians adopted a resolution in which they called Russia "a state that supports and commits terrorism."
