The spokesman, relaying Marcos Jr., said he had vowed to be a leader "for all Filipinos."
In the 2022 general election held in the Philippines on May 9, Marcos won more than 50% of the vote, defeating the independent candidate and current Vice President Robredo by an absolute majority.
Earlier, Robredo had conceded defeat.
