China Siyuan Project Poverty Alleviation Foundation was established in March 2007. It is a national public fundraising foundation headed by the United Front Work Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, initiated by the Central China Democratic Construction Association and responsible for daily management.
The foundation adheres to the concept of "drinking water, thinking of the source, and giving back to the society", and carries out public welfare undertakings in various fields such as education and training, medical care, disaster relief, helping the disabled, helping the young and the elderly, and cultural environmental protection in economically underdeveloped areas.

Digital Commerce and Agriculture From "Precision Poverty Alleviation" to "Rural Revitalization"
In order to help poverty-stricken areas get rid of poverty and become rich, in August 2018, China Siyuan Project Poverty Alleviation Foundation and social e-commerce enterprises and other units jointly initiated the establishment of China E-commerce Poverty Alleviation Alliance (renamed China E-commerce Rural Revitalization Alliance in May 2021), dedicated to Explore high-quality agricultural special products in poverty-stricken areas, build star brands, promote the connection between production and sales, and promote the transformation and upgrading of production and processing.
The alliance member unit Daily Youxian made Sanbaishan Sweet Potatoes in Anyuan County, Jiangxi Province a "popular product" to help increase local income.
Li Xiaolin introduced that through the front-end diversified layout and the big data analysis of the platform, Daily Youxian determined the product positioning, packaging, specifications and marketing methods for sweet potatoes, and worked with the upstream to optimize the planting end and set standards to select high-quality sweet potatoes.
When it was put on the shelves, the sweet potatoes were covered with shock-proof foam nets and packed in boxes with the words "Gannan Sweet Potatoes" and "Childhood Taste".
After the "makeover", sweet potatoes were once in short supply, increasing local income.
"One mu of sweet potatoes has a net income of about 2,000 yuan (RMB, the same below) in one season, which is equivalent to the net income of some local poor households in one year."

In May of the same year, the "China E-commerce Poverty Alleviation Alliance" officially changed its name to "China E-commerce Rural Revitalization Alliance", with the main goal of rural revitalization and the establishment and improvement of a long-term mechanism to consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation, and further leverage the advantages of multi-platform resource aggregation. Intensify efforts to connect production and sales, carry out regional high-quality brand cultivation, improve the level of new infrastructure construction for rural e-commerce, and cultivate rural digital business talents.
By the end of 2021, the alliance has helped 1,678 agricultural product enterprises in poverty-stricken areas and economically underdeveloped areas to carry out "three products and one standard" certification training, and subsidized 386 companies to pass the certification; through holding agricultural product brand promotion and negotiation activities, it guides member enterprises to carry out various forms of production, sales and marketing. Concentrated assistance, etc., accumulatively helped connect and sell agricultural products with more than 26 billion yuan.

Educational assistance, poverty alleviation, wisdom and aspirations
"A century-old plan, education is the foundation." Over the years, China Siyuan Project Poverty Alleviation Foundation has taken education aid as one of its key assistance projects, and has carried out various forms of public welfare projects.

Li Xiaolin told reporters that the foundation has carried out a series of projects that will help improve their overall quality, so that students can develop in an all-round way in morality, intelligence, physique, beauty and labor.
For example, "Bazaar One Hour After Class" encourages students to receive aesthetic education, and has built more than 400 aesthetic education classrooms in rural boarding primary schools.
The "Change Cinema" provides students with the opportunity to contact movies and broaden their horizons. It has donated and built 143 cinemas in schools for children of migrant workers and schools in underdeveloped areas, benefiting more than 150,000 children.
By the end of 2021, the China Siyuan Project Poverty Alleviation Foundation has carried out assistance work in more than 10,000 schools, aided the construction of more than 100 schools, donated the construction of electric classrooms for more than 3,000 schools, and continued to sponsor 17,717 students from disadvantaged families in 145 schools.
