Vladimir Putin appointed Acting Head of the Ryazan Region Pavel Malkov

"Pavel Malkov has been appointed acting governor of the Ryazan region," the report says.

Earlier, the governor of the Ryazan region, Nikolai Lyubimov, announced that he would not be nominated for the post of head of the region for the next term.

Lyubimov also expressed the hope that he could be useful to the country in his new position.
