The MP is one of the few parties that is against NATO membership, but has also not taken a large place in the debate, such as the Left Party's Nooshi Dadgostar.

Something that may have to do with the fact that the NATO opposition among the Green Party's voters is lower than the Left Party's.

That is the opinion of SVT's political commentator Elisabeth Marmorstein after Märta Stenevi's hearing in Morgonstudion.

- I think the NATO resistance is more important for the party activists than for the voters who value other issues much higher.

- We can note that the mouthpieces do not argue as hard against NATO as Nooshi Dadgostar does.

And it's about seeing that there is not much to gain, but also hoping to possibly attract voters from the Social Democrats who are skeptical of NATO but not outright opposed.

The Greta generation can make a difference

The MP has a headwind in public opinion ahead of the election and in the latest Novus poll, parity was 3.3 percent - that is, during the parliamentary blockade.

According to Elisabeth Marmorstein, the party can hope that environmental and climate issues will become more important before the election, which is currently in seventh place on the voters' priority list.

- MP is still the party that voters think has the best environmental policy, says Elisabeth Marmorstein and continues:

- Then it is the case that the Greta generation will vote for the first time and it should not be ruled out that the MP can get them to transform their climate commitment into a party political stance.
