According to information collected by Europe 1, the IGPN is investigating suspicions of collusion during the last writings of the competition for police commissioners through the professional access route.

A candidate would have benefited from the complicity of a member of the jury who holds high positions within the national police.

NEWS EUROPE 1

Did a candidate for the police commissioner competition cheat with the complicity of a member of the jury?

According to information collected by Europe 1, a preliminary investigation has been opened and entrusted to the General Inspectorate of the National Police (IGPN) for suspicions of cheating between a member of the jury who holds high positions within the national police and a police officer who aspired to become a police commissioner.

The professional access competition could be canceled

Both were heard on Tuesday, at this stage in free hearing, by the police force which seeks to verify if a collusion could well have existed between the two suspects upstream, or during the writings of the competition of this year.

Still according to information from Europe 1, the internal and external entrance examinations are not concerned by this investigation.

But the professional access competition – about fifteen admitted each year – could be canceled.
