China News Service, Beijing, May 9 (Reporter Xing Chong Li Jingze) Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian hosted a regular press conference on May 9.

A reporter asked: We have noticed that the website of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs published the "List of Facts About the National Endowment for Democracy" last weekend. Can the spokesperson give more information?

Zhao Lijian: On May 7, the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs released the "List of Facts About the National Endowment for Democracy", which includes six major sections and about 12,000 words. The case fully exposed the true face of the National Endowment for Democracy to the world.

For a long time, the U.S. has instrumentalized and weaponized democracy, used the name of democracy to act against democracy, incited division and confrontation, and interfered in the internal affairs of other countries, resulting in catastrophic consequences.

As the "pawn" and "white glove" of the U.S. government, the National Endowment for Democracy subverts the legitimate governments of other countries and cultivates pro-U.S. puppet forces under the guise of "promoting democracy".

Historically, the National Endowment for Democracy can be seen behind the disintegration of the Soviet Union, the "Rose Revolution" in Georgia, the "Orange Revolution" in Ukraine, and the "color revolutions" instigated and planned by the United States, such as the "Arab Spring".

In recent years, the US National Endowment for Democracy has incited protests in Thailand, incited the Nicaraguan opposition to violently seize power, funded anti-Cuban forces to incite anti-government sentiment, and has long interfered in Venezuela's internal affairs by various means.

The National Endowment for Democracy fears that the world will not be chaotic. What it brings to all countries is not social stability and development, and people live and work in peace and contentment, but only a series of negative consequences such as poor people's livelihood, economic shrinkage, and social confrontation.

The National Endowment for Democracy has also extended its black hand to China, investing huge amounts of money every year to incite "Xinjiang independence", "Hong Kong independence" and "Tibet independence" to carry out anti-China activities through various means.

The foundation also colluded with the "Taiwan independence" forces in an attempt to instigate separatism, disturb the stability of the Taiwan Strait, and arouse indignation and opposition from the Chinese on both sides of the Taiwan Strait.

The National Endowment for Democracy can be said to be the "Second CIA". It is by no means an "NGO" that "provides support for democracy in other countries". Instead, it directly obeys the U.S. government and uses funds to manipulate NGOs to implement them. Subversion, penetration, destruction, and serving US strategic interests.

I believe that the international community will increasingly recognize the true face of the National Endowment for Democracy.

I also believe that more and more countries will expose the scandalous actions of the NED in various forms.

In today's world, peace and development are still the themes of the times. The National Endowment for Democracy engages in acts of interfering in the internal affairs of other countries. No matter what form it takes, it will ultimately fail.
