Courts Errejón denies the aggression: "He told me 'come on, reddish, come take a picture'. I took his arm away and that's it"
Justice The man who denounced Íñigo Errejón for assault is ratified before the judge
The substitute judge of the
Court of Instruction Number 16
of
Madrid
has acquitted the deputy of Más País
Íñigo Errejón
of the minor crime of mistreatment of which he was accused of allegedly having kicked him by a
Lavapiés
neighbor on the night of May 2, 2021.
In a sentence signed this Monday, collected by Europa Press, the magistrate
Fernando Fernández
has agreed to uphold the request of the
Prosecutor
's Office and the leader's defense to acquit him, considering that after the evidence carried out in the trial it has not been "proved that the accused kicked the whistleblower".
"The evidence carried out has not shown how the events occurred, if they were as the complainant indicates or if they were as the accused indicates. Only the request for the photo by the complainant, the denounced's refusal and the subsequent discussion between them," he stressed.
