The South Korean Air Force's F-35A stealth fighter, known as the weapon North Korea fears the most, was put into the ROK-U.S. combined air exercise starting today (9th), one day before the inauguration ceremony of President Yoon Seok-yeol.

According to the military, South Korea and the US have started joint training called 'Korea Flying Training' (KFT) for two weeks from today.

The stealth-equipped F-35A is also in training.

Currently, 40 F-35A have been deployed, and they have the power to covertly infiltrate enemy territory and destroy key targets such as nuclear weapons, missiles, and war command facilities.

It is known that North Korea, which has a weak air defense system, is most wary of the F-35A.

Earlier in February, when the deployment of the F-35A was completed, North Korean propaganda media opposed it, saying it was a "dangerous military maneuver."

With signs of North Korea preparing for a nuclear test and other provocations around the inauguration of the Yun Seok-yeol government and US President Joe Biden's visit to South Korea, some are analyzing the F-35A's participation as a warning to North Korea.
