Scholz believes that Berlin was "left no choice" in the issue of arms supplies to Kyiv

"Putin leaves us no other choice," TASS quoted Scholz as saying.

The chancellor said that Berlin will continue to support Kyiv.

On April 9, German Defense Minister Christina Lambrecht said that the German Armed Forces were unlikely to be able to send additional weapons to Ukraine, because the German army itself should be able to ensure its own security.

As the Das Erste newspaper wrote, Germany will transfer seven Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled artillery mounts to Ukraine, but first they need to be repaired.
