According to information from Europe 1, a detainee incarcerated in the Nanterre remand center escaped Sunday from the Georges-Pompidou hospital while he was under escort from the prison administration.

He took to their heels 48 hours before his 26th birthday.

According to information collected by Europe 1, a detainee incarcerated in the Nanterre remand center in the Hauts-de-Seine escaped Sunday at midday from the Georges Pompidou hospital in Paris, in the 15th arrondissement, where he had been transferred for a medical examination.

While handcuffed and watched by prison officials, he exited the toilet and fled through an open door into the hospital emergency car park.

The detainee was undergoing usual treatment for a pathology within the hospital establishment.

He was dressed in a black sweater, gray joggers, and black shoes when he escaped.

According to our information, he is unfavorably known for crimes of theft, fraud or breach of trust.

The 3rd judicial police district (DPJ) is in charge of the investigation to try to locate and arrest him.
