• Andalusian elections The Electoral Board again rejects including Podemos in the confluence of the Andalusian left

The former leader of Podemos,

Pablo Iglesias

, has assured this Monday that the project promoted by the second vice president,

Yolanda Díaz

, has started in "the worst possible way" after the clash between

the United Left

and

Podemos

for the electoral coalition in Andalusia and has claimed for the future by primaries so that "the people" decide the candidate among the different proposals.

"It is a horror. It causes us shame. The worst way to start something that is necessary in this country, which is the broad front and accumulate illusion. It has started in the worst possible way," the former Vice President of the Government reiterated during an intervention on Cadena Ser, collected by Europa Press.

Iglesias explained that there were two proposals, one from Podemos headed by

Juan Antonio Delgado

, and another with the candidate from IU and Más País,

Inmaculada Nieto

, and the formations "did not agree".

"Yolanda Díaz intervened and said that the candidate had to be the one from IU. We can agree because the boss says so, even if we don't agree, and we have to accept it," she said.

For this reason, he has advocated for "next time" to establish "primaries open to the public or to the militants of the formations" so

as "not to have to go through this embarrassment"

in the election of the candidate.

"At least for the people to decide. If we say that we have to listen to the people, it means letting them speak, voting and deciding. It cannot happen again," she assured.

In this context, Iglesias has pointed out that "it is evident" that Podemos

"no longer leads in Andalusia"

, but that IU and Más País do, and that, as he explained, has caused "euphoria" among many people.

Thus, she has defended that he now has to "obey" Yolanda Díaz and "work to have the best possible result" next Sunday, June 19.

"The feeling at this time is not one of unity. And whoever denies it is making arguments and is lying," she has settled.

CRITICIZES THE FILTRATIONS AND "STABBING"

Regarding the negotiation of the electoral coalition in Andalusia, the former vice president has criticized the return to

"office, stab wounds, records and leaks"

and has defended the primary system to which Podemos "contributed", in his opinion, so that there are no "fingers".

"Podemos was the political formation that opted for Yolanda Díaz and for unity with the United Left. Regardless of the role that we have to occupy, we are going to be disciplined and clear when it comes to defending unity, participation and loyalty with Yolanda Díaz until the end", he underlined.
