The Senlis Criminal Court (Oise) on Friday sentenced a driver to eighteen months in prison.

Three days earlier, he had refused to stop at a roadside check set up in Villers-Saint-Paul, reports

Around 4 p.m., the motorist fled before starting a chase with the police.

In an attempt to escape the police, he ran through traffic lights, stop signs and took a roundabout in the opposite direction at Liancourt.

He throws bags of drugs

But the driver quickly lost control of his vehicle when he hit another vehicle.

He still tried to flee a second time and on foot.

On his way, he also tried to get rid of several sachets containing cannabis and cocaine.

He was eventually arrested and taken into custody.

In addition to his prison sentence, he will have to pay a fine of 1,500 euros.
