The verdict applies to two men, the 27-year-old gang leader and a 32-year-old who together have bought, imported and resold a total of 113 kilos of hashish in the spring of 2020. In total, they earned SEK 1.9 million on these two parties.

The men are both sentenced for serious drug offenses, the gang leader to six years and eight months in prison and the 32-year-old to two years and eight months.

The evidence consists mostly of encroachers where the men discussed the purchase of the drugs purchased in Switzerland.

The hashish was brought into Sweden via Stockholm and according to the ruling, the men will then sell it on to already established buyers in Helsingborg.

Unique insight into the local drug trade

According to the verdict, these are such large parties that the men who are now convicted are to be regarded as an intermediary in an extensive and organized drug trade and that their buyers are in turn wholesalers who sell the drugs on to others than the end customer.

According to several police sources that SVT Nyheter Helsingborg spoke to, the gang leader together with his brothers is the leader of the so-called Adolfsberg network, which until last summer controlled large parts of the drug trade Helsingborg.

Now all three brothers are in prison, the oldest brother is also suspected in the ongoing trial of the police house explosion in 2017.

Luxury items seized

In addition to the prison sentence, the men are sentenced to pay back the amount they earned at the drug deals in question.

The gang leader also loses certain other luxury products, cash and the value of his villa just outside Helsingborg will be written down, which the court judges that he was able to finance through criminal activities.

The luxury products the gang leader is no longer allowed to keep include an expensive watch, gold necklaces, several branded bags and designer clothes.
