.

The case dates back to January 24.

That evening, the police intervened in the Courrouze district for gunshots heard in an apartment.

On the spot, the agents had found two women in a state of shock, explaining that they were prostituting themselves and that they had been assaulted by an armed client.

Accompanied by a friend, the latter would have made an appointment via an online ad.

As soon as he arrived in the apartment, he would have put his weapon, of the airsoft type, on the temple of one of the prostitutes, demanding that she give him all the money in his possession.

The woman then tried to disarm her attacker, and a fight broke out.

Alerted by her friend's cries, the other woman came to her aid, hitting the individual with a coat rack.

Two shots were then fired into the void, before the two men fled.

More than 150 prostitutes contacted

Quickly, the investigators had made the link with a similar attack that occurred in Fougères (Ille-et-Vilaine).

In the same circumstances, a prostitute had been forced to hand over 4,000 euros in cash as well as jewelry and two telephones to two armed men.

The two suspects were eventually arrested thanks to CCTV footage.

By peeling the telephone line of one of them, the investigators had discovered that he had contacted more than 150 prostitutes in the Great West in a few weeks.

Both individuals were sentenced to four years in prison.

Abused by the prostitute he came to see, he lodges a complaint in Valence
