Kimitaka Kuze, a former member of the House of Councilors of the Liberal Democratic Party and chairman of the Financial Rehabilitation Committee, died last month due to senility.

Mr. Kuze is from Toyama prefecture, and after working for the former Ministry of Home Affairs, he ran for the first time from the Liberal Democratic Party in the Upper House election in 1986, and served for three consecutive terms.



He first entered the second Mori Cabinet in July 2000 as the chairman of the financial revitalization committee, but it became clear that he had received an advisory fee from a trust bank, and he resigned less than a month after taking office. bottom.

After that, he retired from politics without running for the 2004 Upper House election.



According to the House of Councilors, Mr. Kuze died at a long-term care facility in Tokyo on the 19th of last month due to senility.
