"Rail car" presents a wagon installed on rails in the middle of the vineyards, on the Art and Architecture route of this Provençal estate.

The visitor can enter this "hollow" wagon and admire the walls where cycles, wrenches, chains or even ladders intertwine.

At the same time, until August 15 and in the same area, the multi-card artist is exhibiting 24 paintings in an installation entitled "Drawn Blank in Provence" (2008-2013), a first in France.

These paintings are "based on his drawings made (by the artist) during his tours in Europe and America between 1989 and 1991", said the castle's arts center in a press release.

The exhibition will be presented in the exhibition pavilion designed by Renzo Piano, and the paintings will be presented alongside works by Claude Monet, Henri Matisse and Marc Chagall.

The exhibition, accompanied by commentary by art historian Joachim Pissarro, will reveal the influence of these major artists on Dylan's "Drawn Blank" series.

"At the same time, visitors will be able to discover a large-scale triptych, created by Bob Dylan in 2021 and installed in Richard Rogers' gallery", specifies Château La Coste.

Internationally known as a singer and songwriter, but also a director, actor, DJ and visual artist, Bob Dylan has sold more than 110 million records worldwide.
