Feedback on how the Social Democrats should stand for membership in NATO was first intended to be held on 24 May.
But now Tobias Baudin (S), party secretary, confirms that a position will already be taken on Sunday - May 15 - when the party board will meet to report back and discuss from the security policy dialogue that is going on in the party and which should be ready on May 12.
The pressure on the party from outside to speed up the process is strong, despite the fact that there is criticism in the party that it is already going far too fast in such a crucial issue as a possible membership in NATO.
The security policy analysis carried out by the parliamentary parties under the leadership of Foreign Minister Ann Linde and Minister of Defense Peter Hultqvist will be completed on 13 May.
Finnish S is expected to announce on May 14 and Finnish President Sauli Niinistö will arrive in Stockholm on May 17 for a state visit.
