Despite the Government

's attempts

to pour water on the Pegasus scandal, the parliamentary forces, both allies and opposition, are not satisfied and are preparing to harass the Executive they accuse in

Congress

from all fronts, after his management disastrous of espionage cases, of causing an irreparable deterioration of the democratic quality of the State.

The former continue to demand an investigation commission that sheds light on all the extremes of the case;

the dismissal of the Defense Minister, Margarita Robles;

the declassification of the judicial authorizations that endorsed the espionage of 18 independence leaders and clarifications about what may have happened with the other 47 that appear on the list prepared by

Citizen Lab

.

The second want to deepen the revelation of the Government itself that both the president and the Minister of Defense have been spied on "illegally and externally."

They intend to gauge the veracity of an issue about which they pile up doubts and ask to know all the protocols that the Government followed to guarantee the security of the communications of the president and the ministers.

These try to save Robles and the director of the CNI, Paz Esteban, from responsibilities and choose to point out as responsible for the fiasco in the management of

the Pegasus case

, the head of the Presidency and Sánchez's right-hand man, Félix Bolaños.

One and the other will form a common front this week putting espionage at the center of the debate.

They are determined not to give up and prevent the case from being diluted.

Thus they have foreseen a real hammering of motions and questions to the president, the Minister of Defense and the Minister of the Presidency.

An artillery that will culminate on Wednesday afternoon with the appearance of Bolaños before the Constitutional Commission, on Wednesday, and the entire debate, on Thursday, of the bill to modify the National Security Law.

Bolaños' appearance, scheduled to address various issues, will become an almost monographic session on Pegasus because PP, Cs and Vox included the case of "alleged wiretapping of pro-independence politicians" on their agenda.

ERC will open fire tomorrow afternoon with a motion focused on espionage to the president of the

Generalitat

, Pere Aragonès, in which the Government will be accused of allowing the "sewers" to continue acting with impunity and the intelligence services and Justice of " make common cause against independence".

In the interpellation that gave rise to this motion, the democratic quality of the State was already questioned, piling up all the reasons, from evictions to immigration through vulture funds, amnesty and

gag

laws and, of course, the " repression" of dissidence and the sentences for sedition against the leaders of the

procès

, which the independence movement considers "serious deficiencies"

Wednesday's monitoring session will largely focus on the

Pegasus case

.

Seven questions will have to answer the Government.

Two will be addressed to Pedro Sánchez.

The PP spokeswoman, Cuca Gamarra, will address the issue of espionage and the democratic deterioration that the Government has caused with its management of it, asking the president if he considers it "important" to strengthen State institutions.

The leader of Ciudadanos, Inés Arrimadas, will delve into the collapse, fueled by the

Pegasus case

, of the bloc of forces that have up to now supported the Executive.

The orange formation aims to highlight the precariousness of the Government once its partners no longer guarantee its stability.

The Minister of the Presidency, Félix Bolaños, will be the main target of the parliamentary groups.

Nobody supports the management of it.

Deputy

Sergio Sayas

-former

UPN-

will go straight to the point asking "how far is the Government willing to submit to the enemies of Spain to stay in La Moncloa".

From Vox, Macarena Olona will put her finger on the sore point of the confrontation between socialist ministers on account of the responsibility of ensuring the security of the president's telephone, and the PP deputy,

Carlos Rojas

, will insist on this section, requiring Bolaños to explain what your ministry is doing to ensure that security protocols are followed in government communications.

The head of Defense, Margarita Robles, will also be a center of interest.

The ERC spokesman, Gabriel Rufián, will urge her to comment on the degree of satisfaction of the Government in relation to the actions of the intelligence services.

Robles, the highest political figure of the CNI, has so far defended the director of the intelligence service, Paz Esteban, who has been targeted by the government itself as a scapegoat to be offered to the independentistas to win back her support.

Despite everything, ERC points higher and seeks to collect the biggest piece that represents the Defense Minister herself.

PP deputy

José Antonio Bermúdez de Castro

will ask Robles about the criticism that the investiture partners are pouring out against the CNI and State security.

PP, Ciudadanos and Vox have formed a block in defense of both the head of Defense and the director of the intelligence service against the attacks of separatism and the friendly fire that comes from the Executive itself.
