The three cameras will be up for 90 days.

Local police area chief Pär Cederholm does not want to say whether they film all hours of the day.

- But when they are up and running, we can go in and see in real time what is happening.

It was after it was shot through a window and a door was blown up in April that the police decided to set up cameras.

- We have people who want shares in criminal activities, often drug sales.

With 90 percent certainty, everything that happened is connected to it, says Pär Cederholm about the events on Götagatan and the surrounding area in April.

The municipality of Hässleholm will apply to the Privacy Protection Authority to have cameras set up in the area even after the 90 days have passed.

- The security department is preparing an application right now.

We intend to apply for permanent camera surveillance, says Lars Johnsson (M), municipal councilor in Hässleholm.
