It is one of the biggest rave parties in France organized for two years, it is underway in the town of Jumilhac-le-Grand in Dordogne, bringing together several thousand people.

The demonstration, which is being held in an old gold mine, was organized without authorisation.

“Gendarmerie checks are in place, announces the Dordogne prefecture in a press release on Saturday afternoon.

Authorities are advising people to avoid traveling in the area.
