The US Treasury ordered the completion of accounting and auditing services in Russia

It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the ministry's general license.

It is noted that until July 7, "transactions necessary to stop the export, re-export, sale or supply, directly or indirectly, from the United States or by a person from the United States, wherever located, of accounting services, management and corporate consulting to a person located in Russia".

Another document indicates a ban on audit services from 20 August.

Earlier, US First Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman discussed plans to tighten sanctions against Russia during a meeting with colleagues from the UK, Germany, Italy and France.
