The Federal National Council condemns and denounces the attack east of the Suez Canal and affirms its solidarity with Egypt in confronting terrorism
The Federal National Council condemned the terrorist attack that targeted one of the water lifting stations in the east of the Suez Canal in the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, stressing the support of the UAE leadership and people with the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council, expressed his strong condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist attack that killed a number of members of the Egyptian armed forces, in a letter of solidarity to Counselor Dr. Hanafi Jabali, Speaker of the Egyptian Parliament.
He said, "While we denounce and condemn such sinister and terrorist acts that attempt to destabilize the security and stability of the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, just as they aim to spread violence, extremism and terrorism... Extremist terrorist groups and uprooting their ideological roots.
Ghobash expressed his sincere condolences to the Egyptian people for the martyrs of this terrorist act, asking God Almighty to protect the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt from all harm and to perpetuate its security and safety to continue its path of development and reconstruction.
