China News Service, May 8 (Reuters) - Britain said it would provide Ukraine with further military support and assistance worth 1.3 billion pounds (about 10.7 billion yuan).

Britain has so far accepted relatively few Ukrainian refugees, despite massive military aid.

According to reports, the British government said it was the highest spending on conflict since the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Britain also said additional spending on Ukraine would come from government reserves for emergencies.

Since the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, the British government has sent anti-tank missiles, anti-aircraft missiles and other weapons to Ukraine.

However, the report pointed out that despite the large amount of British military aid, it has so far accepted only a relatively small part of the more than 5 million refugees who have fled Ukraine.

The British government said on the 7th that it has issued more than 86,000 visas to Ukraine so far, of which about 27,000 have arrived in the UK.
