Black tuna is a high-priced fish species. Last year’s sharp decline was due to the fact that restaurants, which accounted for the bulk of the market, were unable to dine in, and families gave priority to affordable fish, resulting in imbalances in market supply and demand. This year, restaurants have not banned dine-in, which will drive consumption and the price is expected to be higher than last year.
