“Please accept our sincere condolences in connection with the tragic consequences of the explosion at the Saratoga Hotel in Havana,” the Kremlin website said in a telegram.
Putin wished a speedy recovery to the victims, and also expressed his condolences to the relatives of those killed in the explosion.
On May 6, a powerful explosion occurred in Havana at the Saratoga Hotel, which is located next to the Capitol building.
The Cuban government reported 22 dead in the explosion.
