“In the Nazyvaevsky, Lyubinsky districts of the Omsk region, as well as in the village of Nikolaevka of the Soviet administrative district of Omsk, more than 200 residential buildings were destroyed by fire as a result of an emergency,” the Interior Ministry said.

According to RIA Novosti, the fires could not be localized for a long time due to the squally wind, which contributed to the spread of fire.

On May 6, it became known that rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations localized several large fires in the Omsk region.
