"Noor News" website, which is close to the Iranian National Security Council, said that the European coordinator for the Vienna talks, Enrique Mora, will visit Tehran next Tuesday to continue dialogue with the Iranian side, in light of the stalled talks aimed at reviving the 2015 nuclear agreement between Tehran and world powers.

The site indicated that Mora's visit could be a new step in the framework of "constructive talks", to resolve and settle the few remaining important files, given that the European Union plays the role of mediator for the exchange of views between Tehran and Washington.

The site confirmed that the talks reached the stage of political decision-making by the US administration.

This comes after statements by the European Union's foreign policy coordinator, Josep Borrell - to the British Financial Times - in which he said that the European Union is making last-chance efforts to save the nuclear agreement with Iran.

Borrell made it clear that his proposal is based on a compromise whereby the Revolutionary Guards will be removed from the American blacklist, provided that the Quds Force (affiliated with the Revolutionary Guards) remains on this list.

The European official also pointed out that putting it forward as the last attempt, and it is on President Biden's table as well, as talks about it with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken reached their last, according to him.

The talks have been suspended since last March for several reasons, the most important of which is Iran's insistence that Washington remove the Iranian Revolutionary Guard from the list of foreign terrorist organizations.

Under the 2015 nuclear agreement with world powers, Iran agreed to reduce its nuclear program in return for lifting economic sanctions imposed on it.
