Ambassador Miroshnik: LPR and Russian forces have taken control of the administration of the city of Popasnaya

“The building of the city administration of Popasna is already under the control of the People’s Militia of the LPR and allied forces,” he said.

Miroshnik added that fierce battles have been going on in the city for more than two months.

According to him, Popasnaya was turned into a "powerful fortified area."

He added that the forces of Russia and the DPR are "knocking the enemy out meter by meter" from Popasna.

Earlier, the LPR reported that the Ukrainian military shelled the settlement of Zolote-5, as a result of which a woman died, three more civilians were injured.
