This was announced by the representative of the German government Christiane Hofmann at a briefing.

Her words are quoted by TASS.

The main topic of the meeting will be the events in Ukraine.

Hoffman noted that in the current situation, "the cohesion of the G7 is more important than ever."

“May 8 is the historic date for the end of World War II in Europe, which caused horror, destruction and death,” a government spokeswoman said.

Earlier it was reported that German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock would visit Ukraine in the near future.
