None of the students that SVT Nyheter Skåne talks to have themselves been in a chat where abuse material has been spread, but several of them say that they have heard that it happens.
- That it happens is completely against all morals and all principles, says Abbe Skogmark.
"Not okay anywhere"
Even if the dissemination takes place without a sexual motive, the person who disseminates the material risks being convicted as a sex offender, which, for example, may make it more difficult to get a job in the future.
If you spread a picture of fun without knowing that you are committing a crime. Is it reasonable to be convicted of sexual offenses then?
- I do not really know, but it's still not okay anywhere.
And you should somehow take the consequences for what you have done, says Otis Watts.
- Absolutely, I think we in Sweden should be better at judging more when it comes to sexual crimes, says Emma Persson.
