He recalled that very hostile rhetoric against Russia has been coming from Poland in recent months.

“And the fact that threats can come from Poland for the territorial integrity of Ukraine are also obvious facts,” Peskov said.

The Kremlin recalled the recently made statement by the head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, regarding Poland's plans in relation to Ukraine.

“These are obvious facts,” he said.

Earlier, Naryshkin said that the United States and Poland are working on plans for Warsaw to establish control over its "historical possessions" in Ukraine.

He stressed that the first stage of the "reunification" of Poland and Ukraine should be the entry of Polish troops into the western Ukrainian regions under the pretext of protecting them from Russia.

The SVR later reported that Naryshkin's statement about US and Polish plans to deploy "peacekeepers" in western Ukraine was based on intelligence from several reliable sources.
